PTFE Seals with Springs
U-rings are made from a variety of high-performance plastics (also filled with silicone) with and without metallic spring. The spring serves as a biasing member, and prevents the loss of contact pressure of the sealing lips.

Back-Up Rings
For a variety of high-performance plastics we produce static seals for our customers.
In conjunction with O-rings and other sealing elements support rings are used to prevent extrusion of the seal into the sealing gap.

Guide Elements
The guide elements have the task of guiding the piston and the piston rod of a cylinder and thus the lateral forces to counteract and prevent the contact of metal on metal. We provide guidance elements from various high-performance materials for complex applications in the industry. Meter Item is available as a cut length of the roll.

NORSOK
The new compliance qualifies not only the resin, but also—mandatory in this qualification process—the process and machinery used in conversion of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) into semi-finished and finished products, offering the highest compliance ranking of the supply chain to the market. It is a major accomplishment as the industry prepares for future ISO 23936-1 standards. All tested materials passed the various NORSOK M-710 criteria, which cover such aspects as swell, Young’s Modulus and visual inspection.
